Which green to choose
For a daytime function, the bottle and parrot greens in zari-woven Paithani and organza sit at the light end of the range. In the middle are the handloom Tussar-Paithani fusions and the woven tissue greens — teal, celadon, chartreuse, artichoke — where the zari grows denser. At the top sit the emerald, forest and heritage zari-woven silks, the woven Muga cotton, and the two-tone designer Paithanis.
